NextGen Chem Funders Alliance supports safe and sustainable decision-making by pairing educator-designed learning module with free access to the Chemical Hazard Data Trust managed by ChemFORWARD.
This leverages the strengths of two successful non-profit organizations to revolutionize chemistry education and better equip the next generation of scientists with skills to tackle sustainability challenges through chemistry.
Contributions to the fund allow Green Chemistry Commitment signatories to access chemical hazard data through the ChemFORWARD platform and provide support through the GCTLC platform.
Donations may be tax deductable.
IMPACT
Progress will be reported annually, metrics will include:
# of institutions using the learning modules
# of educators utilizing the learning modules
# of students who gained access to the Chemical Hazard Data Trust
Qualitative impact based on end-of-class satisfaction survey
Every $1,000 donated creates access for one classroom for an entire semester.
OUR GOALS
To provide access to at least 100 classrooms every semester for the next 5 years.
We aim to expose up to 4,000 students per year and ultimately touch 20,000 future chemists, toxicologists, and scientists.
